Grade 100 Alloy Chain Slings With approximately 25% higher strength than Grade 80, Grade 100 chain is used primarily as a sling component for overhead lifting. Grade 100 chain can be used for all of the same applications as Grades 30 through 80. Made in America, CM Herc-Alloy® products are made of superior triple alloy steel that provides the best strength-to-weight performance in the industry. Herc-Alloy® 100 chain meets ASTM A973 standards while components, such as hooks and Hammerloks®, meet ASTM A952 standards. Each sling is individually serialized for traceability.
